Hi there! I’m Alana—travel advisor, beach-lover, mom of two awesome kids, and proud pup parent. My days? A whirlwind of researching and booking dream getaways, chasing wagging tails, and helping families plan their next big adventure.
Here’s a peek into a not-so-average day in my sunny, suitcase-filled life:
☀️ 7:00 AM — Coffee & Chaos
Between breakfast battles and last-minute permission slips, I’m also answering early-morning travel emails. My dogs are already at the back door ready to go outside to play while I get my morning workout in.
💻 9:00 AM — From Playdates to Passports
Once everyone’s where they need to be, it’s go-time.
I spend my mornings:
✔️ Building dreamy family itineraries
✔️ Booking beach villas and dog-friendly resorts
✔️ Answering important questions like “Can my golden retriever go paddleboarding?”
Spoiler: Yes, and it’s adorable.
🐾 12:30 PM — Walks & Wanderlust
Lunch break = leash break. I step away from the screen, leash up my four-legged co-worker, and take a beachside (I wish! or neighborhood) walk. These midday strolls usually spark my next blog post idea—and make my pups whole day.
✈️ 4:00 PM — Snack Time & Sandcastles
After school, it’s snacks, homework, and kid chaos... mixed with the occasional client call. I’m helping one family plan a Mexico escape with teens, and another couple bring their doodle to the Florida Keys.
🌴 9:00 PM — Dreaming in Blue & Gold
Once the kids are in bed and the house is calm ( let's keep it real because that is what I'm all about, is life EVER calm with 2 kids and 2 dogs?? and I want a 3rd..DOG that is haha any other Great Dane pawrents out there?), it’s time for my last round of emails (and maybe a little travel vision boarding). I wrap the day with gratitude—and probably a dog...or two snuggled under my feet.
